*May 20th @ 5pm - M-Fuge participant meeting, paperwork should be sent at least one week prior to the meeting, please be prompt at 5 and we will meet first then do unfinished paperwork.

 

*May 20th @ 6pm - Ministry Meeting for our summer events - All students and adults should attend and bring their calendar!!!

 

*June 9th @ 11am - Youth Sunday practice & cookie baking for Sr. Adults, we will bake and package cookies for our Sr. Adults on this day following our Youth Sunday practice.  We should be finished by 1pm. 

 

*June 10th - Youth Sunday & Graduate recognition - Let Kimi know if you know someone who is graduating from High School or College.  We are already thinking about the service for that day so contact Sheri if you would like to do special music that day either as a group or solo.  We have 2 open special music times and will receive requests and fill them based on higher grade level then 1st to talk to Sheri. We want to encourage duets, or small groups to participate with special music, however solos will definitely be considered. 

 

* June 25-30th - Mission Fuge Summer camp, $300/person.  N. Greenville University.  $50 deposit or commitment due. 

 

ADULT Opportunities to be involved - This is where outstanding needs for adult help will be posted - needed help after the ministry meeting sign-ups (email Derek if you can help)

- April 15 - GO! Time Snacks - no one signed up at this time

- April 15 - GO! Time volunteer - 2 needed

- April 25 - Serve MWE meal - 2 adults needed

- April 29 -  GO! Time snacks - no one signed up at this time

Discussion Starter:
That little boy has some serious rhythm. According to the YouTube description the driver is his sister and his big brother shot the video. The last time they woke him up while driving he was cranky so they thought they’d blast one of his favorite songs to see what happens.

The writer of Lamentations gives us an amazing challenge for getting out of bed.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
   for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
   great is your faithfulness.


What a contrast to how we normally get out of bed and embrace each day. Think about this as you begin to wake up to get ready for your day tomorrow: How can I bring joy to this morning?

3 Questions:

  • Are you better at air drums or air guitar?
  • Would you rather be awoken to loud music or a punch in the arm?
  • What would it look like to live like every morning was if it were brand new?
